Monday Morning Truth

Sometimes we have those days when our flesh seems strong and our faith feels week. In those moments we have truth to cling to and cling we must. This song we sang yesterday ministered to my soul greatly. I wish I had the tune to go with it. Since the tune is a beautiful updated version from this old hymn, I was unable to find it. So I leave you with these words. Let them cover your soul this morning.

When I fear my faith will fail,
Christ will hold me fast;
When the tempter would prevail,
He can hold me fast.

He will hold me fast,
He will hold me fast;
For my Savior loves me so,
He will hold me fast.

I could never keep my hold,
He will hold me fast;
For my love is often cold,
He must hold me fast.

He will hold me fast,
He will hold me fast;
For my Savior loves me so,
He will hold me fast.

I am precious in His sight,
He will hold me fast;
Those He saves are His delight.
He will hold me fast.

He will hold me fast,
He will hold me fast;
For my Savior loves me so,
He will hold me fast.

He’ll not let my soul be lost,
Christ will hold me fast;
Bought by Him at such a cost,
He will hold me fast.

He will hold me fast,
He will hold me fast;
For my Savior loves me so,
He will hold me fast.

“It’s not the amount of our faith that makes us strong but who our faith is in.”
